We haven't seen a spider, any leaves or even grass come through since Roberto installed our pest shield. Thanks to the quality craftsmanship, I no longer have to tip toe around the garage in case there's a new spider (or family of spiders) sitting pretty in corners of our garage.
When we bought our home two years ago, we had a lot of pests in the garage. Our sticky traps (depending on the time of year) were covered in big wolf spiders, crickets, earwigs, June bugs, army worms and even a small lizard, despite us using indoor/outdoor pest spray in the garage. Roberto Hern is a highly respected pest control professional in our area and was recommended on our town’s Facebook page, so we gave him a call. He pointed out that the corners of our garage had big gaps - probably around an inch or so between the garage door and the wall - and this was where most of these pests were getting through. He installed the Garage Corner Pest Shields that he’d invented and I was surprised how quick and effective this solution was.
Previously, we could see daylight through the corner edges of the garage door, but these shields seal the gaps up and lay flat against the door. I’d estimate that it cut down on the number of bugs in the garage traps by about 70-80%. Installation took about 10-15 minutes, you just need a drill and some sealant for the edges. We paint matched them to the trim and you don’t even notice they’re there. We’re really pleased with this product and would buy it again.
Roberto did a great job re: our rodent problem. He installed his “Pest Shield garage corners” which he designed and they work. Heavy duty metal that no rat or mouse will chew through. Roberto was very knowledgeable about the problem and because our doors were a bit older, suggested installing flashing around the doors. He did this for us and nothing is going to get through. Roberto inspected around the house and made a few suggestions that I could take care of myself. He put traps in the garage to make certain nothing was hiding in there but caught nothing. Roberto put traps in the attic and caught two. His follow up is great and if you think you hear something in the attic he responds quickly. Definitely a five star review from me. Even my neighbors have contacted him. Roberto is friendly, courteous and VERY knowledgeable about pest control so, if you have a pest problem, give him a call. You won’t regret it.
I'm telling you, I was skeptical at first, but this thing really works. We haven't had any pest problem since Roberto installed it. I am truly impressed and would highly recommend this to everyone! Thank you Roberto for talking us into this. :-)
Got this installed by Roberto at my place and haven't seen any field mice inside since then, I tried other products in the past but this seem like the real deal.
