Align the pest shield with the rounded corner up against the rubber edge of the Thermo stop garage door trim

Screw or nail securely at #1, #2, and #4, then continue at #5, #3, and #6 finding suitable points to secure into the garage wood frame.

Mold the shield to the rubber seal shape use your finger, adjusting until tightly sealed after closing the door.

If there's a gap between the garage wood frame and concrete, consider using the plus piece.

To install the plus piece, begin at the back where the hole is located. Insert a screw or nail.

Bend it around to ensure it is close to the garage wood frame. Then, position it behind the shield.

Finally, secure the plus piece with screws #4, #5, and #6 at the lowest suitable point for a secure grip on the wood frame

Yes, this product is designed to be a DIY installation. All you need are a drill and the screws provided in the package. Alternatively, you can use nails, although we recommend screws for optimal stability.

Would the Garage Lower Corner Shield rust or get damaged by the weater?

How do I know what product should I buy?

If there's a gap between the concrete and the wood frame of your garage, you'll need the Plus Piece Edition. However, if your frame extends all the way down to the concrete, the standard version is more than enough.
